2020欧冠杯预选赛Parents and students choose Fork Union Military Academy’s Summer School because the program is based on the same character-building standards as the Academy’s academic year with opportunities and resources tailored to fit the 4-week summer term.

Why Choose Fork Union’s Summer School?

  • To receive rigorous academic instruction by expert faculty
  • To get ahead in school or to catch up on courses
  • To take enrichment courses in addition to daily extra-curricular activities and athletics
  • To experience the Academy before committing to an entire school year

The Value of Fork Union's Summer School

As you are considering an investment in summer, consider the following:

  • We offer live, in-person instruction. Online courses would still have a cost, but do not present the same value, especially where a student is doing summer school for remedial reasons to improve their grade—they need the extra help, the ability to ask questions and have the teacher be able to look the student in the eye to see if the student is not keeping up
  • For most young men, the opportunity to be away from home presents a tremendous opportunity for personal growth and maturity
  • For some young men, if they were not at summer school, they would be in camps or other activities that would have an out-of-pocket cost
  • With your son at summer school, you would not have any food expenses (including dinners out), gas, or other entertainment expenses (except the modest amount suggested as an allowance)
